Are we ever going to pick a player again?

 

I don't like it. Both those 5ths are very back end of 5th.

 

173 and 176? They may as well be 6th rounders. I like the trading for next years picks much more--maybe a SF 4th and 5th in 2025.

 

JD trying to secure a spot with another team in case he gets booted after this season.

 

We're waiting for the '25 draft.

 

If we don’t draft any players, they can’t turn into busts!

 

What not to like, this is the 4th round, you act like there are superstars here, the guys left are role players now for the most part.

 

Maybe we can trade them all for a '27 1st rounder.

 

I kinda get what JD is doing but at the same time it's confusing to me.

He's letting these winning teams Packers, Niners move up. Teams with better teams than we had in 2023 and have shown they know what they're doing.

If these teams already better than the Jets are are identifying players at these spots that can help them why couldn't these players help the Jets?

 

What part don’t you guys get. The guy they want will still be their in the fourth and more in the fifth. Perfect way of doing business. There is no player left that will make a big difference in our win now mode. We are now in the build the trenches for 2025

 

Now that I think about it, I really don't want JD drafting another QB anyway. I hope he trades all the late picks for future considerations and calls it a career.

 

I don’t really get moving down a ton from the 4th round? This is kind of the last spot to add something you have a good read on IMO. I would’ve made one of these 3.

 

The whining is insane.

 

I think when people say they don’t get it, it’s another way of saying they disagree with it. I get what he’s doing but I think there’s still a couple quality players we could’ve nabbed.

 

I don't get that logic.

49ers were in the Super Bowl last season, Packers were in the playoffs.

These teams identified players at our spots that could help them.

So now the Jets are so good that players at these spots can't help us? But can help the 49ers and Packers.

Jets haven't made the playoffs since 2010.

 

and write off '24? Thought this was the "all in" year...

 

This isn’t how it works. Not every team has the same needs or the same board.

 

They ain't making the playoffs in '24 either. We're all in on '25 evidently.

 

Care to guess who we pick in the 4th. I’m guessing is someone no one here, myself included even though of. Hope they have a good read on this one. I’m guessing a DT.
