    A future 3rd for a win now situation is a win? Helluva gamble on JD's part. He must be banking on being around in '25. Why not just punt on the rest of the draft. Not like we need a eventual replacement for Rodgers. Then again, If Woody cleans house, '25 won't matter will it..

    On paper the trade out is a good deal, but the trade down with the Packers was not.

    As long as it is not against GB, JD is doing well. GB should have given the 5th for as much as we had to drop back. But as usual GB GM bitch slapped JD.

    This is dramatic. No QB is going between the pick we traded and our next pick. And you’d have to nail it for a fourth round pick to be a “win now” guy.

    This was a smart trade.

    I think that’s a pretty good trade. I don’t get the GB one at all but I like picking up future picks like that.

    Between the Fashanu pick , and trading for a pick next year, it certainly seems kind JD thinks he has a contract extension in the bag.

    Well, JD just traded the next pick too.. Hopefully he got a '25 4th round pick or a 2026 1st round pick. Maybe he really is punting on the rest of the '24 draft.

    and if the guy they want will be there with their next pick it’s a good trade again.

    you’re in dart throw territory. The odds of these guys working out is pretty similar between 4/5
