I would have been pissed if we selected this guy instead of Alien in the 4th. Nice patience by Douglas.

Love the Jordan Travis pick.
I had a feeling we were going to get him, I think he has a lot of upside.
Easily will become a competent back that could win you a couple games in a pinch

 

So we just took 2 beefy runners on day 3.

I guess we are going hardcore on the power aspect of this offense next season. Not sure how I feel about this pick.

 

Another running back, Isaiah Davis. All offense this draft.

I liked the Allen pick. In light of that pick, I don't like this one. No need for yet another running back.

I'm shocked that the Jets don't think they need to upgrade the IOL or to add another strong safety.

I do love that they added a power RB, which I felt was truly a need, but two of them? Does that mean that they aren't that high on Abanikanda any more?

I don't hate It but It Is a little confusing to me. I think the offense Is going to be changing It's approach this year significantly with some of these picks. Not sure how It doesn't If you are picking like this. We shall see how It turns out I guess.

Izzy didn't show shit last year. A power running back that can excel in short yardage situations was a huge need, especially with a QB that you can't tush push! Selecting 2 may be hedging bets that at least one works out, or it's the belief that we will be running up big leads and running the ball a lot to kill the clock in the second half using these backs to keep Breece safe on the sidelines.
