WTF is JD doing today? Traded away #111 and #129 for what? There was no trading up, so what did he get? I love the Braelon Allen pick, but by trading those picks, he missed on Jaden Hicks, Erick All, DeVontez Walker, Tanor Bortolini, and AJ Barner.
Got whooped by GB again to move down a lot just for a 6th, but did get two 5ths rom SF and a 3d next year from Detroit. Overall I think a net positive.
Not really, because next year's 3d has a value chart of this year's 4th, and Detroit's is expected to be towards the end of the round. Which is exactly what the trade was. The SF trade was exactly even per value chart. And GB one he lost - got their 6th instead of 5th. However, given our roster, which is kind of stacked, I would prefer a better pick next year. So while on value chart he may not have won, overall - agreed net positive.
I disagree. The Jets missed out on some very good prospects (imo) in Jaden Hicks, Erick All, Tanor Bortolini and others.
Yes. RB is the easiest position for a rookie to come in and play at a high level. If Breece gets hurt, we need a RB. The same goes for the IOL. There are still some good IOL prospects left who are better than the depth we have.
In your opinion. You don’t know their board. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if All and Bortolini were nowhere near the top of their board heading into today.
What do you mean another? This is the first in this draft and we needed another RB. We only had Breece and Abanikanda. Allen's a great prospect.

Sucks... We knew he was going to be gone after he basically tweeted that much yesterday. Doesn't seem like we got a lot. Same as for Zach really. Cost cutting move.

Honestly, draft ends after Friday night for me. I am watching soccer on my TV and following picks on ESPN ticker and twitter.
