Best ive felt after a loss by FAR all year. Im proud of how we played. Not close to how i would feel if we won, but only slightly bummed. More proud than upset.
Jets O scored 18 points on 11 possessions. Can't believe you are going to beat the KC Chiefs producing only 18 points on offense. With the game tied 20-20, Jets O went 3 and out, punt, 4 and out, punt, fumble. Coaching decisions in the 1st half killed the win chances at least as much as officiating in the final minutes. Can't punt on 4th and 1 at midfield when down 10 to the Chiefs and can't mail it in on a 52 yard FG attempt on a 4th and 1. No balls coaching had as much to do as anything the officials missed and Saleh needs to own that too.
Good take. When you leave it up to the refs, you just didn't do enough to win. Rough loss. Fuck the refs anyway.
How did the two refs standing right there miss that hold?! Can't wait for them to send a tweet out tomorrow that it should've been called and we'll still have a loss.
Before the game I feared a blowout. At the end of the first quarter it looked like it. Then the defense clicked. They stepped up. Then Zach and the play calling was way more balanced. The Chiefs defence had to drop off. If Zach can play close to this in games going forward we have a chance to do something. The refs killed us. Disgusting. They was holding our pass rush all game.
Yeah it happened before when they beat the Bills last season. We need more consistency than once a year.
Yeah he missed some open receivers and throws he should have made plus the fumble. But that was a damn solid game he played. Lot of really legit throws. Offense had some creativity (not enough Breece Hall) and attacked. All good signs. If he can build on that, its not over for him yet. He can't get down on himself for the fumble. Props to the defense for making this a game and making some big plays, but they got gashed by Pacheco and gave up way too many big plays. But these are the super bowl Champs. And the f'ing refs... BRUTAL holding and even WORSE in that spot...
They said they wanted to put him on snap count and then Dalvin began to suck so they just keep giving him the ball I guess. I don't know why we haven't seen thre rookie get any carries. Has he?
I don't even think he's been active so far this year. I swear, every Dalvin Cook "run" makes me miss Bam Knight more and more.
I can highlight many missed opportunities and can’t get the ref to blame for the game. Yes they were some questionable calls. _ Carter dropped a sure catch for first down and FG range before the missed FG. That would have inched us closer with couple of plays left. - Mosley dropped an interception and would have given the Jets a good field position. - ZW slight over three GW on deep end zone threat •Little things. But like the way they came back.
-If Uzomah doesn't trip on himself Breece takes it to the house instead the drive ended with 0 points after Breece sprung it, Sad when your Hb runs for 60 yards and you come away with 0 points, you gotta capitalize on runs like that -Zach Wilson fumbling the ball at the end -letting Mahomes run for 3rd and 20 at the end -letting Mahomes run for 3rd and 8 at the end Jets shot themselves in the foot at the end, its what bad teams do. Blame the refs all you want they were only 5% of the problem
He’s still only about a year removed from a torn ACL. He most likely won’t get that explosiveness back until next year. I still think he’s looked pretty good this year, all things considered.
I still can’t get on Saleh for kicking that FG before the half. Chance to make it 20-15 with 20 seconds left and we get the ball to start the half? Like he said in his presser, we’re probably not getting a TD on that drive anyway.
