I think the jets lose this one. I can't imagine a scenario where Saleh n Co. somehow outcoach BB. Wet and windy conditions, the Jets will probably turn the ball over more than the Patriots. I'm thinking 17-10 New England
Remember we're talking fantasy here, not football. I simply supplied the answer to the question "why?" - I didn't endorse it. I also didn't get into how tough it is to rack up points if the current thinking of his boss is to only let the guy touch the ball four times a week.
Anyone that drafted Breece knew what they were getting into this year. You knew you had to have another option for the first month or two while Breece got his legs back under him. Got no issues with benching him but to cut him after 2 weeks? Makes 0 sense.
Oline reshuffle per Schecter. Becton at LT, AVT at RT, Tippman at RG. This is the unit that practiced together all week.
Being reported that it’ll be Becton at LT, AVT at RT and Tippman at RG. I think this is the best combo we could have out there today. Let’s see how it goes!
Also being reported that AVT has taken reps at OT for 3 weeks and that Becton and Tippman practiced all week at LT and RG respectively.
The Jets really need to get this monkey off their back, but I'm not feeling it. The Cheats going 0-3 against the Jets would be a beautiful thing today, but other than a few exceptions, the Jets always turtle against Constipated Bill. I'm not thinking that Coach Saleh and Hackett's spawn are outcoaching that miserable, vengeful fck, but any given Sunday, I guess. Win or lose, there will be pain. Tocca ferro! If anyone wants to know what that means, it's a saying that's literally thousands of years old. Roman soldiers would hold their shields over their hearts and tap their swords against them for luck before going mano o mano into battle. All of these centuries later, it's analagous to knock on wood, but Italians touch iron. So, if you have any wrought iron in your house, say, "Tocca ferro!", and touch iron 3 times. Italy may be one of the most "Catholic" nations in the world, but don't be fooled in the least. It's impossible to separate when you're there and you're in it. That's my history lesson for the day. Btw, I picked the Cheats to win, not because I want it that way, but because logic and shit. I can already feel the chunks rising. However, as always, GO JETS!
I think Saleh was just messing with BB's head. According to Connor Hughes, Becton has been practicing at LT all week. Funny that Saleh said a couple days ago that it would be a disservice to Becton to move him since he hadn't had the practice reps. He's playing chess and I love it. You need every possible advantage you can muster up against the Patriots. I'm assuming this means more runs to the left side, but it may not be as strong with AVT at RT, but we'll see. I hope Tippman succeeds.
funny my Jet fan friend at work and I call each other Woodhead. We loved that guy and think we should have kept him.
