The Patriots are very beatable. The key will be the turnovers and who can run the ball better. If the Jets run the ball and don't play stupid they should win.
The Pats OL is just as bad as yours or even worse. Mac is not so great at getting rid of the ball quickly. Play smart, a Field Goal is ok since Pat's offense sucks. Play field position and it will easy to get into Mac Jone's head because OL of Pats is worse than yours.
If the Jets played that way against the Cowboys, it would have been a competitive game. You're talking about perhaps one of the most inept CS in the league. They ignore trends and tendencies and stubbornly cling to whatever thought they woke up with that morning. Hackett probably will try to air it out even with monsoon rains and tropical force winds blowing around MetLife. Ulbrich will keep his base defense and not make any adjustments all the while Belichek will be outcoaching them simply by using his years of experience. Belichek is a HOF HC. There is no one in the building that can come close to that anytime soon.
Jags playing at home at 1.... so it looks like I have to go to the bar for this one. They better at least keep it competitive.
Tony Adams is out with a hammy Wes Schweitzer is out with a concussion he got in practice Saleh is very confident that Brown will be ready at LT even though he didn't practice for 3 days. T This is dumb. Sit Brown, Kick AVT to LT and throw Tippman at RG. See what happens. There is no way I would move Becton to LT though.
You're serious aren't you... Man, Saleh is really starting to drift off into fantasy land with this rah rah shit. Brown hasn't been ready all year. Didn't play at all during the preseason. Sucked in his first 2 appearances and now suddenly, he'll be ready after NOT practicing for 3 days??? Cmon Bob.. Put the pipe down..
Duane Brown couldn't play on full weeks of practice. Oh boy... They better have some better protection schemes in place..
This shit is starting to get scary.. Bob is getting desperate now and reaching for solutions that simply aren't there.
I lost my trust to Bob Saleh long time ago. For Football Head Coaches there are 3 very important aspects. Leadership Ability Strong 1:1 relationship with Players and Coaches Tactical Knowledge Saleh gets passing grades in the first two points above. But so far, his tactical game knowledge didn't impress me. He has all year to show me something. If this team folds again and close the year with 5-6 wins, I will just fly the banners of Florham Park and ask his head. I am going to the game this Sunday unless Storm spills into Sunday. I know Sunday will be rainy and windy. But who cares. I missed my team. If these motherfuckers bend over to Belichick and his Pats I will be done with this team for this season and sell rest of my tickets. 14 game losing streak. This shit has to end this Sunday.
Well we have a whole year to see how this all plays out…on the one hand Woody may give him a pass due to AR getting hurt right away, but on the other hand, if we really do stink it up and win only a few games, how can Saleh NOT be on the block? Hard to keep a coach who hasn’t had a single winning season. But let’s see how this year plays out…still too early to have a real discussion on this in my mind
Indeed, I have enough of his BS. The time for talk is over coach. Get the best players on the field not your Good post, enough with the platitudes and placebos. your record is 12-24 get the team ready to play and win games, no more excuses... If they lose, I will be the 1st to say this CS neeeds to change....
Interesting stat in the Pats vs Dolphins, when the Dolphins ran straight ahead they averaged 9 yards per carry. Something to look for w/Hall and Cook.
