The Giants are never winning a championship with Daniel Jones as the QB. He's the very definition of mediocre and that's his ceiling.
I'd say he's more of a flat track bully. Cricket term that means he will feast on the low to middling teams in the league (i.e Easy mode) but will struggle when pitched against a team with actual championship aspirations. As for the night ahead - If I'm forced by despondency to turn over the Pats game early then I'm interested in the Chargers Vs Viking to see who can avoid 0-3 in the early window. Can't say any of the later games appeal to me much due to what looks like massive mismatch so might be an early night for me.
Jaguars definitely not looking like the AFC championship caliber predicted for them, unlike the Dolphins.
Jaguars try a pop-up kickoff, Texans fullback Andrew Beck catches it on the 15, and returns it 85 yards for the touchdown! Dolphins destroying the Broncos - 42-13 in the third quarter.
Make that 49-13 Dolphins. Russell Wilson actually having a decent game, but the Miami offense is ridiculous.
Chargers win the winless championship, dropping Vikings to 0-3. Cousins might very well be available in a month, but that will be much too late for the Jets, I expect.
