I was overlooking Miami this season due to potential Tua injury but I now remember that game you are talking about. Like you say if they had Mike White in that game last year they could have won. I will take them more seriously now. Their win in LA was impressive. Also if I heard right Tyreek Hill made it his goal to be the first 2000 yard receiver in NFL history. He made a good start yesterday and had 215 yards receiving. Very impressive.
That's his target - if the Phins were in another division I would be glad to see Tua come good after all the injury issues
Will be a long year for Miami if they can't figure out how to stop the run. The Chargers ran for almost 250 yards and won the TO battle. Reminds me of the time we ran for nearly 300 and we lost to Buffalo with sanchez
Their run defense was pretty atrocious. A good way to beat them would be to control the clock by running the ball. You definitely want to limit how many offensive possessions they get.
On another note in that game - I still really don’t get why anyone including that organization thinks Brandon Staley does anything well as a head coach. His defensive game plans are atrocious and he doesn’t adjust in-game. That roster is absolutely loaded this year and they left camp fully healthy. They should be 13-4 this year.
Staley might suck and they choke a lot so I dont disagree with you. But that roster has a speed issue. Too slow on both sides of the ball
I cannot stand him whatsoever. He was the media darling the first year he took over and finally people around the league are getting after him. For being a former DC, you would think at least that part of the team would be solid.
The product is like weak tea....I can barely watch anymore. And I absolutely can't listen. Even highlights go on mute
NFL football is becoming unwatchable for me.... I think all american sports are going that way for me....I'm too old....too many wasted hours of weak product
I agree, especially about the listening part. I was watching Red Zone and I just heard bad take after bad take after bad take along with botched calls. I'm tempted to watch the Manning cast tonight just to avoid listening to people over react to everything for a living. At least you get a little comic relief that way. It will be funny listening to Eli talk about the Giants game last night, too. You know he's going to get heckled by the guests and Peyton for that one.
Another week one observation - how have the Titans not upgraded their quarterback situation in all these years? It didn’t even sound like they entertained the thought of Rodgers or Carr. Tannehill was awful yesterday. They’re going to waste the prime of not only Derrick Henry but the best DT pairing in Autry and Simmons.
