The week 1 appetizer is now over, this time tomorrow we’ll be able to talk over our team with a little more focus! Onward, fellas!
I'm bitter about the fins game. What horrible coaching and awareness to close the first half. That should not have been a Dolphins win. What a joke.
My only regret about the SNF result is that I wasn't able to see it - I was instead watching Billy Joel at the Garden. Billy was great, but I would have loved to see the Giants be so pitiful.
I picked the Commanders in my suicide pool. I originally had Ravens but switched. Almost regretted it!
That was mortifying what happened to the Giants today. I hope the Jets fare better against the Bills and we avenge NY against the Cowboys. Clear out the stench.
2 The good news is that there did not appear to be any problems with the new turf even in the downpour.
watched redzone last night - main takeaways were the Phins looked good and the Eagles did almost all they could to give the Pats a win - the AFC East must be the strongest division - lots of close games which is always great as a neutral fan
Did the Phins look good or does LAC just stink? They played man coverage the entire time vs Tyreek and Waddle. If JC Jackson wasn't an imbecile before half the Phins lose. PI before half gives Miami 3 and then he takes an INT out of the endzone to the 5 yard line. The next drive 3rd and 1 from inside your 5, come out in empty and get sacked to the 1 yard line. Kellen Moore what are you doing? You were averaging 7 YPC. Then the Chargers punt from the goal line and Miami gets the ball on the LAC35. Touchdown next play. I like Kellen Moore, but damn what an idiot. Staley also. What a jackwagon. Right up there with Ron Rivera as the worst coach in the league.
I watched the game and thought Miami's offense looked extremely potent. Tua made a few bad passes, but all in all he looked sharp. Everything you wrote about the bad coaching is true but still. Miami went into SD and beat a decent team on the road. And Miami's OL did a great job of protecting Tua. I felt like I wanted to puke watching that game play out. I detest Miami.
They probably didn't think pulling their big money starter in a week 1 blowout would have been the right signal to the fans.
Weeks 1-4 might as well be considered preseason , as many don’t play their starters like they used to. Actual pre season should be renamed tryouts. A lot will look different by Oct 1.
it's not really a road game going into LA. It's like playing on a neutral field. I think we can all agree they are going to go as far as Tuas health can take them.
hard to say but i thought it kind of funny to think that it seems like only 5 minutes ago people were saying Tua was done and the Phins needed to move on from him!
The Dolphins are real and are going to be tough to handle all year. They nearly knocked off Buffalo, IN Buffalo, last year in the playoffs with a practice squad QB
