Yep. People may not know/remember, when Toon started the Jets used him with a deep threat (w/Wesley Walker on the other side). Then, either because of the Jets porous offensive line or because Joe Walton was an idiot, they used him more as a possession-type receiver to the flanks and over the middle, which resulted in some incredibly hard hits that led to his concussion issues and retirement. Al Toon's biggest mistake was getting drafted by the Jets. If he's on the 49'ers (who drafted Jerry Rice that same year as the Jets drafted Toon), he's a hall of famer. He was just that good.
