Belichick's hatred of the Jets is irrational.

He was on the scrap heap -- unemployable and probably NOT going to get another coaching job at that time. He was barely above Ray Hanley in the personality department.

The Jets brought him in along with Parcells. His defense didn't shine in the AFC CG but he did an overall good job. He was given the HC job and then stabbed us in the back. I know Steve Gutman said some uncomplimentary things about him, but WTF did he expect when he quits on the team 10 minutes into his tenure ? Good Luck, Bill ? :D

The word INGRATE comes to mind.

Tanking this game may be the coaching job of Belichick's career.

IRONY DEPARTMENT: Pats win.....Belichick HELPS the Jets (draft-wise) and really HURTS the Pats (probably won't be able to draft the Top 2 QBs).

Belichick helps the Pats and hurts the Jets by LOSING today.

Way to steal a million dollars from a dying old man. He was a scumbag before he was a scumbag.

Actually, they named Belidick head coach, THEN went and hired Parcells, asking belidouche to step down to D coordinator. He did it, but I still believe he has a hardon for us for making him step down for Parcells

he also forgot that selecting Wilson set us back 5 years and if we didnt have Rodgers we would select another qb that would set us back 5 years. Just like Darnold set us back 5 years...

He and Parcells ALWAYS talk GLOWINGLY of Leon Hess. They worshipped the man. Couldn't he have shown a bit more loyalty to the man ?

Speaking of Hess, John Hess -- Leon's son -- never had any interest in the team. Does anybody even know if he likes football ? It was NEVER expected he would follow his father, except at Hess Oil (which he just sold to Chevron).

Doesn't look like the Pats are all that interested in crossing the LOS today.

I don't believe that's what happened. The chronology is wrong.

They hired BP as "consultant" and BB to lead the team for one year. BB was never formally "demoted."
