they did but no one picked him up so we got him back. He cleared waivers Tuesday and reverted to the Jets’ injured reserve list. Streveler and the Jets could reach an injury settlement that would make him a free agent. Otherwise, he will spend the season on injured reserve.
Tippman is having a phenomenal game, his second in a row. No idea how he’s not even in the convo to start.
Around the start of the fourth. Outside of that first sack he looked solid too. Tippman is jumping off the screen to me though. And he’s been in there for all but the first three series.
Per Cimini Mekhi Becton's day is done. Playing w/ No. 2 OL, he played a total of 27 snaps on off -- up from 7 last wk. Going into the game, Robert Saleh said he wanted Becton to push it as far as he could. A positive day for Becton
Hard to take much from an early preseason game, but it sure was nice to see a Jets team able to execute a screen pass.
The OL play gives me a little more reassurance that they might not be a disaster. Of course it's the Panthers and P.S. so difficult to tell, but I'll take any improvement.
according to Cimini, Conklin, Uzomah and Ruckert are locks to make the team so unless the Jets carry 4 TE's then none of the 3 that caught TDs today are making the team.
