I've never been on the Cook train. He has a lot of mileage on his body, he's coming off of major surgery in the off season and he's going to want a lot of guaranteed money that we'd be better off spending elsewhere.
Yeah, lots of hype for sure. I don’t see how it would hurt having him here so we don’t rush Breece back, especially an Achilles can take over a year to get back to 100%.. that said more than a 1 year contract with a lot of guaranteed dollars would be dumb point of question was do we trust these other young guys to carry the load or we can sign a guy like cook to lessen the burden on breece returning
Yeah, I've not been impressed with the play calling tonight, but I guess they're working on the rushing attack.
Brownlee is just someone who can spread the field. We don't really have anyone who can do that outside of GW. Davis and Lazard are very similar WRs who are big possession guys who are great blockers. Hardman I guess can take the top off but he really isn't a big bodied guy who can win downfield at the highest point. Cobb is.. Cobb? And that leaves us with our 6th WR who hopefully is Brownlee. There is a niche role for him on this team so I really hope he makes it. Super comparable to a guy like Tim Patrick.
