Traffic will be a bitch and that will go for any primetime game except SNF as the stores/mall (Garden State Plaza) are closed on Sunday. Rt 17 will be a nightmare trying to get to a Thursday or Monday night game if you are leaving after work.
Will be almost 40 years exactly since the last time Jets and Dolphins played the first Friday game back in 1983….
The tix are on sale now for the black Friday game. Prices are crazy, 300 plus for the nosebleed seats. Decent seats not buried in the end zone or the upper deck are 500..

Your recollection must be off. I am not seeing a game played vs. Miami on a Friday in the 82, 83 or 84 seasons. Also they are advertising this as the first Friday game ever. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/nyj/1983/gamelog/
Just hit me Jets won’t be playing Dallas Thanksgiving now …..I find that quite surprising ….. I bet Dallas has a great chance of being the opening night opponent now
LOL no….I remember it well Dec 16 1983 in the Orange Bowl. The Jets lost 34-14 - Richard Todd’s last game as a Jet. The cap to a very disappointing year …
If the league rotates the AFC/NFC team going to Detroit/Dallas, then next Thanksgiving the Cowboys will get the AFC team since the Lions played the Bills last Thanksgiving. If the Jets are out, then that leaves the Pats as the only other AFC team going to Dallas next year.
In the upper deck yes, I was referring to the lower levels. The last time I sat upper deck was the colts playoff win in my avatar lol. Not against it but sat front row for a Packers game at Lambeau and the deflate gate game. Spoiled me I guess...
What about Broncos-Chiefs on opening night? Broncos rolling out Sean Payton, I could see the league doing that
After how bad the Broncos were on primetime all of last year, I highly doubt they will be littered throughout primetime this year.
