Because if he didn't then he would have to answer for why he did earlier. He's going down with the ship hes decided.
I understand and get it. It's frustrating to see Super Stars get 50/50 calls. Purdys definitely didn't get his, but he's probably not viewed in the same lens as Mahomes. I remember when Zach Wilson his rookie year got picked up and body slammed against Denver fucking up his shoulder. No flag. Super Stars get calls sometimes in sports. Every fan realizes this.
Jared Goff is NOT Patrick Mahomes. Going for it on fourth down in field goal range when you know pressure is coming is just dumb.
Agreed. Only thing I’m saying is that Lamar is a superstar and the Ravens were the top team in the entire NFL this year. They should’ve “earned” some calls in this one that they didn’t get.
Pretty much this. He probably knew if he kicked the fg now, that he would have to answer why he didn't do it earlier, and vise/versa, so he decided he wanted to prove his risk taking was correct by going for it again on 4th down in hopes it would work out and they would win the game.
Well..... they're going for it on 4th down next time. And it'll be because they pissed the game away and are now desperate.
I don't recall Lamar not getting any benefit of the doubt roughing call. He just didn't play well.......that Flowers fumble though cost them the game, not the refs.
You have to be sick if you are a Lions fan. They had the 49ers on the rope. The 49ers were DONE if they kick the fg and make it..... The 49ers had no life, no hope, no chance......until the decision was made to go for it on 4th while up 14.
This game is on Campbell. He had an opportunity to be up three scores and in a flash all momentum shifted to SF. I'm sorry but I've seen enough of him to conclude he's a terrible Coach. This was the Lions best shot because when Ben Johnson leaves I think their carriage is going to turn back into a pumpkin.
