I still can't get Getty Images. I tried the copy image address and downloaded Share X. With image address, all it pastes is the link, not the picture, even when I paster it in the link box. With Share X, it seems to only do a screen snapshot of the whole page, not an individual picture, plus I don't know how to get it from Imgur to here.
Open ShareX and go to After capture tasks. Make sure those settings are enabled as the picture below. Then go to the destinates tab and make sure it uploads to imgur. That will give you the direct imgur link to paste in the box above. You can also click hotkey settings and set it up to be any hotkey you press on your keyboard will take a picture. Capture region allows you to click and drag a box around anything you want to take screen grab.
Thanks! On After capture tasks, I'm not sure that I see any settings enabled. Are you saying that "Copy image to clipboard," "Save image to file," and "Upload image to host" are enabled because they are bold? If so, mine are already that way. I did the Destinations part earlier and selected Image uploader: Imgur then Imgur. I clicked on capture region, and thought I might be able to drag a box, but that didn't happen. I clicked on one picture and that highlighted it and brought it to the forefront, but when I took a picture it showed the background as well as that picture. Could it be the browser I'm using? All I did was follow your link to the picture, right click the image and click "copy image link". Came here and clicked the little image box in the "Post" area. Right click in the "Image URL" box and paste the copied link. Click "Insert" and voilà!
When you click capture region it should open up a box around the window or entire PC screen you are on. Should then open up a little magnifier glass where you can drag a box around whatever you want to use. I still think it's way easier just to right click the image -> copy image address -> paste it in this box. Some photos don't work but if you click the image to open it and copy the image address should work. ShareX is a really good tool though so can definitely play around with it or watch a youtube video on how it works.
Thanks, I'm wondering if it might be the browser I use, because I've tried that numerous times and it never works with Getty image photos, but it does with other photos.
I did see that box, but it was small and wouldn't let me drag anything. I see one difference here. After I clicked on copy image address, I pasted it in the url box that you showed earlier, and it would post the link, but not the picture. I'll try the image box. Thank. Hopefully, that will work.
