Not excited about this. Sure, if he's healthy, Lamar would make things exciting, but can he take you to a SB, and ultimately win it? I guess I'd be happier with him than the other options not named Rodgers, but he's going to cost a boatload in compensation and CAP hit. Can the Jets afford to cover that and still be able to fill the holes they currently have?
I remember before the Jets hired Rex, they were really trying for Cowher, they even announced something desperate like "the Jets will do whatever it takes to hire Bill Cowher".
