I don't really care about the last stat. Don't think losses or wins are a good metric to measure QBs. A few weeks ago, I was someone who was very interested in the idea of Carr, not so much anymore.
I think Carr would be an upgrade for sure but I do question how good he really is. They have talent on that offense with that good offensive line, Jacobs, and Devante Adams. Why havent they been more successful?

You know, as recently as a few days ago I was thinking Carr would be the best move. Then I saw some stats about what a putrid quarterback he is in cold weather games. That made me change my mind in a heartbeat.
Right now, the most attractive QB option is Baker Mayfield, currently lighting it up in LA. He's an unrestricted free agent after this year which means we won't have to give anything up to sign him. He's had 4 years of pro experience, has had success, is only 27 years old and has some swagger which might make him a good fit for NY. He won't come cheap but I think money spent on him is better than money spent on a backup like Minshew or someone like Garoppolo who has an injury history.
yeah from a "name" standpoint he'd be a huge signing...I'm not sure how he would do in this offense as I haven't watched enough of him to really have any realistic clue, so I'll have to leave that to others who know better, but I'd definitely kick the tires on that for sure

I liked Baker Coming out of College..he's had the Browns collapse around him and then had a poor coach / team in Carolina Now ..look at what McVay is doing with him now he's got some talent! Guess what ?..Baker continues to do well in LA he may not even want to leave to join Southwest Airline aka the NYJets..lol..Maybe the Rams are moving on from Stafford ? Who knows ..Mayfield is 2-1 with them so far I believe We would have to upgrade the Offense and OL big time imo

What are you talking about? Jimmy was drafted in ‘14 to replace Brady. Brady had shitfit and went to Kraft to get him traded b/c he didn't want to leave. Jimmy was shipped to SF where he has been since 2017. He's been on two teams in 8 years and the only reason he won't be on SF next year is because they drafted Lance -- which I doubt Shanahan and Lynch were on the same page with. Look at how good SF looks with Brock Purdy. They never needed Lance to be successful. Minshew was drafted in '19 by the Jags as a 6th round pick. Had decent stats in Jax on a dogshit team with a dumb AF coach and now is backing up in Philly. Minshew has looked miles better than anything we've seen from Baker since he's entered the league. This has to be a troll post right? Baker was beat out by SAM DARNOLD. Remember him??
