Jazz really has no business batting cleanup. Couldn't Stroman have soaked up an inning or two after Gil went out? Why is he on the roster? Who's left for the 8th and 9th? Mayza and Weaver on fumes?

I mean, its kinda hard to ride Leiters dick here given he just got through two innings when he hasn't pitched since the Carter administration. The real problem the Yankees have is roster management. They've got shit in the bullpen and Boone has been burning his best guys every game. It catches up to you.
Agreed. Leiter gave them some big outs but man.. Rizzo and/or him have to make that play. Just sucks for him that he did all the right thing and a freak play happens. Yanks picking him up though.
