The post season is going to find Stanton so much and make him run. He can't bat 5th if the only time he's not a liability is if he hits a home run.

I’ve just never heard of a 34 year old athlete in unbelievable peak physical shape that simply can’t run whatsoever. It’s so fucking bizarre.

I don’t see the Yankees winning tonight or this series at this point.

The Royals are going to rightfully pitching around Soto, go right at Judge and then make the Yankees group of .230 hitters make them beat them.

Having Jazz hit in the 6/7 hole rather than right in front of Soto still makes zero sense.

It's because we have a 2nd basemen that if he's not battling leadoff he gets bored and hits .220, and was near league leader is errors for a second baseman while vocally letting everyone know he didn't want to play other positions.

That's one of the many things that makes him trash. You have to adjust your entire lineup and field so he plays so so. There's no doubt Jazz should lead off, but unfortunately the Yankees have no depth and this is the way to maximize the second baseman.

I get all your hate for Gleyber and a lot is warranted but he’s been a decent leadoff hitter since they moved him there. He also walks at a decent rate.

I think it should be Gleyber-Jazz-Soto-Judge or Jazz-Gleyber. They are wasting Soto’s ability to maximize his ability to protect players.

How can Costas say that he doesn’t blame Soto for taking an absolutely awful angle and dive at that ball?

They’re not getting Isbel at home but that’s just a bad baseball player and he had zero shot at catching it with that angle.

Crazy thought process to put the guy who has been basically sent to the basement to face the heart of the royals lineup.

Yankees got very lucky getting stuck with only have Holmes ready there

He has hit leadoff well the past 1.5 months.

The Royals have better arms in the bullpen, but the Yankees have more that are serviceable. I don't see what they are doing being sustainable to even a 5 game series.

Bob is brutal. The only time he gets excitement in his voice is when he talks about something that's at least 40 years ago.

    Warren is dealing, that's huge.

The Royals have destroyed their pen, the Yankees have enough bodies to get through a game. They have the advantage tomorrow.

Can you imagine if judge was actually effective in the post season? And Juan wasn’t soso.

Yanks better win tonight because I don't trust them going home for G5 with Rodon vs Ragans at all.

Stanton proving his value as a #3 in our lineup for sure. Judge and Soto aren't going to do it every night, he's a great third threat in a lineup.
