Letting Wandy walk was a silly mistake. He’s making penny’s for what he’d be worth to the team.

I was also very surprised they let him walk.

Volpe’s on absolute fire batting 6th/7th every night and finally looks comfortable.

Let’s immediately move him up to lead off and cool him off right as he gets comfortable.

This is kind of symptomatic of the current Yankee brain trust. They just have zero instinct for the game sometimes.

On a brighter note, dropping Verdugo into the clean up spot looks like a great move after one game. Gotta say, I wasn't expecting a lot from him, but he looks great in left and he at least gets on base, which is important given how many strikeout machines the Yanks have in the regular lineup.

Kind of embarrassing how bad the Yankees bench is. Total ass.

Imagine if we traded Torres when he had value? Instead we have a losing player that will at best walk and we get nothing or at worst he signs back. Luckily I do not think he's coming back.

    Leader of the Cashman guys.

Judge heating up. Soto cooling down.

pitching has been surprisingly not atrocious for the most part. If Cole and Kanhle come back in good form the Yanks seem to have enough arms.

His approach at the plate is still awful. I wouldn’t throw a single fastball to him unless it’s at his chest if I were opposing teams.

I said he would if he hit like last year into September.

You consider his stats raking? Ok guy. I still think DFA is how his Yankee career will end someday.

So who goes to the pen when Cole comes back? You can't take Gil out of the rotation.
