The error was trying too hard, but Margot going to third on that ground out was 100 percent Torres being a lazy POS. He didn't even try to get to second so Margot could go halfway down the line and wait for IKF to throw it. Torres is not a winner and he never will be. This is easily the worst game of the year, regardless of importance.
#56 and #57 for Aaron Judge last night. I really hope he breaks the AL single season home run record. He is having just a monsterous season.
Why didn't Yankees extend him before the season? I don't follow baseball and even I know what he is accomplishing this year. It will cost Yankees arm and a leg. Interesting really.
They made him an offer prior to the season starting that he turned down. He gambled on himself and is apparently going to win big. Good for him. He's my favorite pro athlete and he's in the process of making history.
I figured out who Montas reminds me of when thinking about Yankee pitchers. Deivi Garcia. He allowed someone on base every inning, really didn't have an out pitch and has poor control. He just looks like a bad pitcher. Montgomery, who he is replacing at this point, was a good pitcher with questionable stuff. Much rather have that.
Saw a great line on a Yankees' blog today: Aaron Judge's season is all the more impressive considering he doesn't get to face Cole, Montas and Taillon.
