So far it looks like Cashman lost his gamble. But there is no way he lets him walk.

My goal was to split with the Rays this series. Taking the first 2 means playing with house money for the . The Yanks are now 6.5 games up on the second place Rays and 8 up on the Blue Jays.

I have no problem with Cashman taking a gamble and losing. He's more than made up for it with his other moves. But I hope you're right about the Yankees doing what they have to do to keep Judge.

I don't want him. Give me Soto 2 years down the road.

Judge is a top 5 player in all of baseball. I'm a huge fan of his, but Soto is going to be 25 when he's eligible to be a FA and Judge is 31. If I'm giving both players the same per year average, give me Soto.

So Aaron Hicks should be offered a buy out at the end of the year, no? He’s worth more to the Yankees being paid to play for another team than wasting a roster spot.

The Lions had a better shot at winning the Super Bowl than Gallo had of getting a clutch two out hit there. Sometime it sucks having two insta-outs at the bottom of the lineup.

Imagine a world in which Joey Gallo and whatever stiff is catching actually contribute at the plate.

No chance Hicks gets a hit here.

How is it that Gallo is solely a home run hitter below the Mendoza line but can’t catch up to a 93 MPH fastball at the belt buckle?

On paper there are probably better starting rotations than the Yankees but in reality these guys have been the league's best. Sevy with 7 innings of one hit shutout ball today. Unreal.

I was screaming for Cashman to sign a starter this past off-season. So far he looks like a genius. Cole, Cortes, Taillon, Montgomery and Severino have been the best starting 5 in baseball to this point.

How long can you keep trotting Gallo and Hicks out there every day instead of Miguel Andujar who gets sent back to the minors?

The Yankees are playing great right now but they ain’t winning shit in the fall with 3/4 instant outs at the bottom of the lineup.

They need to sign a GM solely to fill the outfield. It goes beyond who's out there:

    - judge isn't signed, the Yankees have said they couldn't offer more because of the Hicks contract

    - they optioned Andujar, who asked to be traded.. to trot out the worst outfielder in the majors.

    - they traded for Stanton, who for 3.5 years physically couldn't play the outfield

Cashman should thank the stars because the Yankees are rolling and if they weren't he'd be getting killed
