Eh, I flat out don't trust Warren and I felt like i saw the tea leaves of a meltdown. I would have let him go one more batter, but i don't think anymore.

The williams thing.... yeah.. just stupid. The guy is toast and everyone knows it.

It’s looking like leaky defense and a gassed pen will be doing the job tonight.

The pitch clock violations were really bad, but the strike zones were egregious.

I get that Yarbrough can give you length if needed but don’t you sort of have to concede this game and let Schlittler take his beating to save the pen for the next two games? Now you need 8 1/3rd out of a pen that’s already relatively beaten down considering you only have like 2 reliable relievers.

Guess I was wrong. Yarbrough to the rescue to eat innings.

Remember the flowers Cashman was getting for the relievers he picked up, and where they are today.

Bednar has been solidish, makes it sketchy a decent amount.

Duval looks like he sucks. I don't see the location nor the stuff. You can also tell Boone does not trust him with how he's been used.

The guy from Colorado is in the minors. I forget his name, that's where he's at.

I look forward to being fed these guys as answers in the off season by Cashman while Weaver walks. Then it'll play out.

Add bunting to things Volpe is fucking terrible at.

Is there anything this guy is good at?

3 runs walked in/HBP, 1 on a wild pitch and two singles before the big damage. That escalated quickly.

It made more sense to pull Warren this game with 91 pitches and a 2-2 game but it back to back games he’s looked decent with only one real mistake and it didn’t work out pulling him.

Looks like he needs a chance at the third time through the order and take it hitter by hitter.

1 walk, 2 hits this time..

And now we learn Volpe’s been playing hurt since May. I swear to god this organization is poorly run on a mind-boggling level.

The only time he’s hit since then is when he’s had a day off or multiple (ala All Star game week).

Probably the fucking reason the poor dude can’t reach first base.

Yankees’ treatment of him this year will probably cost him millions over the course of his career.

Yanks did their best to piss away a nine run lead tonight.

I really want Judge to win the batting title.

I know it's not the best award, but it was my favorite award as a kid.

I think it actually means more now with 1/3 of the league batting under .250

What do you think about him playing left and Bellinger in right? He clearly can’t throw.

I’m not sure why they didn’t start the first base experiment a month ago.

It’s not like Goldschmidt adds much on offense or defense other than seeing eye singles where he can’t maneuver the bases very well. He has 16 RBIs in the last 4 months.

Caballero and Rosario have both played the outfield in their past. They both run the bases very well and can bunt, steal and field. Shit, Jazz has outfield experience as well.

They should’ve started to see if Judge can handle it and then fit those two guys in with maybe a shuffle in the later innings to get Goldschmidt in against a lefty as a pinch hitter.

I'd rather him play right. He's most comfortable there and yankee stadium has a tough left field.

Arm is important but it only impacts so many plays.

I hope they commit to Rice at first base full time next year. Give him an entire off-season knowing it's his job to improve his defense to be at least adequate.

Wells has had a meh to below average year. I think the guy is going to be a hitter in the mlb at the catcher position.
