Glad to see we’re going burn every reliever in the pen tonight.

Man Boone you're subbing Wells for Trevino.

So, what changes can we expect for next year?
    I know what I want:

    Sign 2 real starters .
    Sure up the bullpen
Fire the hell out of baboone, maybe Cashman man too.
New hitting coach. One that will teach that to win in Oct , you need base runners and runs. Not home run derbys.

Cashman and Boone aren’t going anywhere. Right or wrong they got the team to the WS this year.

Cole-Rodon-Nestor-Schmidt isn’t bad. Pitching hasn’t been the problem. Grand slam aside in game 1, they’ve given up 3, 4 and 4 runs. They should be able to scrape together a win in those scenarios.

They need to sign Soto obviously. They also could really use some contact hitters badly. Not really sure where you have open slots other than maybe left field and 2nd or 3rd depending on where you put Jazz and what you do with Gleyber.

It will be interesting to see what they do with Rizzo. The only big upgrades out there are Bellinger and Alonso who will probably cost more than they want to spend given what they will propose to Soto.

Same could be said of Roberts. Why the hell is he doing a suicide squeeze with 1st and 3rd, no outs, Edman the most consistent hitter of the playoffs at bat, with Othani and Betts to follow. Mind boggling.

Full disclosure: Yes, I'm a Dodger fan, but admire the Yankees for getting to the Series.

Very true, 3-4 runs should not be impossible to overcome for this lineup. That grand slam took so much air out of, they choked the rest of this away. I still can’t believe judge in post season.

I would like to see that bullpen become the strength it once was.

I disagree pretty strongly about the rotation. I think their bullpen outperformed in the playoffs, I only trust Cole and Schmidt in the rotation. Gil I think needs to improve his control before he enters the circle of trust. Rodon has shown absolutely nothing and can barely get out of the 4th inning.

The bullpen is bad. If Warren didn't come out of no where I'm not are they are in the world series. Holmes has stepped up but I don't trust him. Same with Hill.

The offense will get better next year hopefully as we replace dead weight with hitters, if Cashman signs the right people.

We should pitch to Freeman more.

I don't think Hernandez has gotten a hit since game 1, Muncy is batting .180. let's pitch to Freeman.

Rodon is fine and we’re stuck with him unfortunately. He’s frustrating as fuck a lot of times and I don’t like his attitude but pitching to a 3.96 ERA could be worse.

The Yankees bullpen is kind of par for the course. It’s hard to find relievers that give you back to back good years. We desperately need a closer but finding these guys is a dart throw for a lot of teams.

Hader is a good example. He was terrible in 2022 for two teams. Good in 2023. Got a huge deal and was pedestrian at best last year.

I didn’t even get to sit down before he homered and said the same thing. Mind blowing decision to pitch to him.

That guy is either absolutely wasted or has down syndrome but that was hilarious.

Joe Davis said it right. Someone’s gotta show some fight in this stadium.

Switching Stanton and Jazz is utterly retarded. What is he trying to avoid? Judge and Stanton facing a righty out of the pen? When they face righties 90% of the time anyways?

Rodon looks like he is going to have to work hard every day of his life to not weigh 275 pounds.

Jazz is struggling at the plate, so it's only natural to bump him to the 4 spot and bump our 2nd best hitter to the 5.
