Exactly why anyone but Stanton hitting 4th makes no sense. You don’t need to protect Stanton and Judge from a righthander by putting a slumping lefty in between.

How are your guys arms feeling? We might need a couple outs tomorrow night if anyone can spare 2/3’s of an inning.

My arm's fine. My liver is taking a beating though.

I predict a Stroman sighting if Rodon doesn't make it deep.

Crazy to think the 2 guys we would be praising in the playoffs would be gleyber and Stanton

I thought they took Gil out too early. He seems to just be finding his stuff

I think we see him regardless. Holmes, Hill and Kahnle won’t be available and I can’t see tempting fate with Leiter two days in a row.

Rodon getting into the 6th makes a yuge difference than the 5th. It basically determines how little you have to use Stroman. Get into the 6th and you’re less than 2 innings. If he comes out in the 5th or sooner we’re riding and dying by that 88 mph fastball/slider combination.

What a seed by Gimenez in the first. Rojas has to hold Gleyber there though. I know it felt like an easy run but can’t risk killing the inning.

I'd imagine Cleveland's bullpen is a little short tonight. Hopefully they get Bibee out soon as make it another slugfest

I get there's an off day, but that doesn't top off the tank. Cleveland is going to the same 3 relievers every game

Tim Hill has been unreal. No reason to take him out there though. Let him finish the job.

That was one of the most insane at bats I've ever seen. After the third foul ball, Gaddis looked terrified to even look at Soto.

Texted my uncle last night and said it’d be a huge bump for the Yanks to close it tonight. They have a day advantage over the winner of the NL series and the Mets have the starter advantage tomorrow night so they should push it to game 6. Should get extra bullpen rest over the NL winner no matter what and could be even more than normal.
