Not as worried about Denver's offense as I am about their defense. Maybe the short week and playing an extra quarter of football Monday nite will take some of the bite out of them.
I vote Jets to win. Stars are aligning. Their QB is injured. This Jets team has moxie. Confidence is good. Overconfidence...dangerous. Coaches got to keep the lid on the pot. Get the win!!!
Way too early to say for sure but sounds like it could be a rough game weather-wise on Sunday. Something to keep an eye on this week.
Might work in our favor actually. we are better than them in running game and also can stop the run nicely. Maybe time to have Zach run a little more too?
IMO this is a key game for Denver cause their on the edge of chaos. Either they circle the wagons and play inspired. Or they melt down and start a mutiny.
If anyone has the access to the all 22 film, check out the play where Q forces the fumble of Rodgers. The Jets are in 4 quarters defense and Sauce makes terrible play. He follows the inside post leaving the outside sideline sail route from the slot receiver WIDE OPEN. Orlovsky highlighted it on NFL Live today. Without pressure the party easily goes for 30 yards, maybe more. This is a great example of how a good pass rush can mask mistakes on the back end. And how football is the ultimate team sport. And also that maybe Ahmed should pump the brakes on the head gear.
I feel like this is going to be a really close game. A field goal type of game. Their defense is really good and particularly good against the run. The Jets passing game is lacking to say the least and I've seen reports recently that the wide receivers aren't great at getting open. The defense should keep us in this game for sure though. We probably should win this game, which is why I think we'll lose 16 13. Something along those lines.
A lot of these guys in here think the Jets are gonna go in there and dominate. I just don’t see that happening ….. every team has ups and downs. I think this is going to be a low scoring close game also.
Accuweather has on and off rain likely and gusts close to 40 mph. If that holds the Jets need to go in with a similar game plan as last week.

Damn, I was hoping they’d air it out and test CB Mathis. He was a PI machine on Monday and his stats for his other starts weren’t much better…

I have 17-13 Jets but I can't see a blowout either. The Broncos defense is really good and despite his struggles Wilson (assuming he plays) is still capable of making big plays. Plus playing the Broncos in Denver is never easy. At 2-4 the Broncos are playing to save their season. They will be a desperate team.
