I don't know but after a horrible start he has had a few good games in a row once Brown came back until yesterday at Denver. I did not see the tape in Denver but I noticed a few inside pressure. What I have seen the last few weeks has been solid pass protection except on stunts. They have had a very hard time with stunts. Their lack of experience together as a line has probably made it very difficult to communicate and react to stunts. I would like to say that things will get better but given the constant changing cast of characters on the OL I am not sure that is something we should expect. Hopefully AVT will realize that playing tackle is a curse on this team and go back to the safety of playing guard next year.
Laken Tomlinson is garbage. Watch the film, - yet another bad game. He's been up & down AT BEST, === and when I say "up ", it just means he wasn't bad. So maybe average at best. The good thing is that we signed him to a 1yr deal where the dead money will equal the cap savings & has zero salary guaranteed. So OG should be on our list but later in the draft. I like what I see from Nate Herbig & AVT will be back next year. But if Nick Broeker (Ol' Miss) or Steve Avila (TCU) are available when NYJ is OTC in the 3rd round, --- I'd say grab 1 of them.
