Another good omen: Blue Bloods is on the house TV at work and the Reagans are all watching a Jets game with gear on.
Works good for me, walk down to watch Intl. Water ski Championships, American Legion for cheap beers for the early game then home for the Jets.
Jets-Broncos Week 7 inactives Jets: WR Elijah Moore, QB Mike White, TE Jeremy Ruckert, CB Bryce Hall, S Ashtyn Davis, DE Jermaine Johnson Broncos: QB Russell Wilson, ILB Josey Jewell, TE Albert Okwuegbunam, S Caden Sterns, WR Jalen Virgil, CB Essang Bassey
Greg instead of Lol, I had NO shot at that. I obviously knew who he was after he told me, but yeah: zero idea beforehand. On top of me having no chance regardless, he looked a lot lighter than his playing days - just a regular dad watching his kids play sports.
I was just joking, I wouldn't have recognized him either, though it was good of him to chat, sometimes these ex-players can be very stand offish.
That's where he played most of his snaps I believe. He was on the Jets from '11 to '13... not very good teams.
The more I'm watching the Commanders handle green bay, the more I'm thinking we really did not beat a good team last week. That's making me more worried about this week.
Game thread now open https://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/2022-nfl-season-week-7-jets-broncos.98076/
Zach was hot dog shit today. I can't find a single excuse for that performance. It was like watching Sanchez at his worst. He better work out whatever is going on. His accuracy is trash.
Does anyone know what the record for most consecutive games/attempts without a touchdown or interception is? Because Zach might just break it.
Crazy…all the more credit to the defense and STs Zach is brutal to watch I said in another thread but I’ve been 50/50 on him mostly due to his piss poor accuracy…I’ve had enough excuses about OL and drops (shit, half the drops are his fault for throwing behind guys), but watching that on the field today is rough. I get Denver’s D is good but he was missing open guys all fucking day. Winning is great and covers a lot, but he’s been playing like dogshit warmed over…sure he’ll hit a nice throw here and there but man he has a LONG way to go… I’m now down to 40/60 on if he’ll develop…and if he doesn’t, I’m looking for a new QB at least for competition…we’ve got a nice young core here that he can’t be holding back.
This year the Broncos have given up: 16 points to us 19 to Chargers 12 to Colts 32 to Raiders (1 defensive TD) 10 to 49ers 9 to Texans 17 to the Seahawks They have a LEGIT defense that is at worst top 5 -- so I don't know how *much* emphasis we can put on our offensive performance especially with the injuries
