Looked like a solid trap play on the broadcast, but knowing how LaFleur likes his trick plays, this very well could have been it as well. Certainly would explain that sudden change of direction, as I'd thought Breece Hall has shown fairly solid vision thus far in his short career and was wondering why it took him a bit longer than I'd expected too see the hole there.
I re watched also. It was 100% supposed to be a pitch back to Wilson. Great job by Hall recognizing the hole and taking out to the house.
I think that was the first trap play executed all year, and it turns out that it wasn't run as designed. Perhaps this will inspire MLF to add more trap plays to the repertoire.
I was looking to see if Quinnen Williams and Rodgers had a moment after the game to discuss those they had during the game but they cut away from the post game onfield action pretty quickly.
That one was so obvious it defies belief that they didn't call it. One of the refs even went for his flag and then stopped. They call the chop block on Brown, which clearly wasn't, and then don't call this.
Post game interview with Sauce "When you go to London you can pick if you want a bye week right after or what team you want to play and (Green Bay) picked us. They thought they was gonna get the Same Old Jets but, we came out there and dominated." Be careful what you wish for Rogers. Go Jets!
Talk about disrespected.. I read here somewhere that Denver is having some homecoming celebration or some such and they wanted to guarantee a win so they waited and wanted us.. I hope we smash their arrogant asses and dance on their field to show our "respect".
Yeah, I read that too. I'm sure Saleh is using this to motivate the team. Hope the Jets bust the Broncos and ruin their crappy homecoming.
What a difference between yesterday and the last time the Jets played in Lambeau. The Jets blew a 21-3 lead and Mo Wilkerson had to be escorted off the field after being ejected. A total melt down which started an 8 game losing streak and spelled the end of of the Idzik era (and Rex). While that game signified the end of one regime yesterdays game may have signified the beginning of a long term successful team……let’s hope! Go Jets!!!
