The conversation did not begin when you got involved, it began when someone made a claim about Hill and Waddle being "slowed down" to which I replied that catching all the passes thrown their way for five first downs and also gaining three first downs and 95 yards on interference penalties did not constitute slowing anything down - that was my opinion which some took issue with. Fine, take all the issue anyone wants, but there is nothing illegitimate in my voicing such an opinion other than to those who simply cannot abide hearing that things are not all sunshine and roses even when the team wins a game or three. Have we really gotten to the point that cold hard facts are to be disregarded because they are the ugly baby in the nursery? I appreciate your measured response, not all here care about such things, and I'm fine with us not being in 100% agreement - that's why we're here, to discuss our viewpoints. Now if only we all could agree on attacking the post, not the poster.
Instead of the backhanded comments, why not simply quote any facts I presented that are not accurate?
Except that's not at all what I said. If you choose to comment why not deal with what I actually said instead of making shit up? You don't know shit about the world I live in and this is not the forum for fantasy.
Yup…I agree on the back and forth….good discussion and debate is what I come here for…sometimes to commiserate when we suck, and to celebrate when we win, but I also appreciate a real discussion as opposed to name calling or bullying or whatever we want to call some of the shit that happens… all good!
In case anyone wants to compare what the Jets did with Hill and Waddle with what the Vikings did, the Vikes did a great job on those two. Hill was targeted 15 times but only caught 12 of them. Waddle only caught 60% of his targets (6/10). Oh, Hill caught 12 for 177 yards and Waddle caught 6 for 129 yards, but those stats don't matter
