I don’t know how anyone can doubt the win or the progress. It was a well deserved win regardless who was at QB ZW was just ok but didn’t create any TOs except on downs. All we need for him is make mistake free game and move the chains. He did that today. Hopefully we ll start creating some holes for #20 and #32. I am going to enjoy this game a while and a 3-2 record but at the same time not get too far ahead of myself. Tomorrow focus on the GB.
Great win against a divisional opponent. Let's keep this train rolling. Thx to everyone for the links to hook me up for watching the game. Unfortunately, none of them worked, so I went to my local sports bar and watched it. Surprisingly, there were more Jets fans than usual(I'm in Delaware) and we all celebrated instead of commiserated.
There will always be negatives, welcome to life. Most people want to enjoy the positives (bc there are always those; welcome to life) but I respect your choice to bring your negativity. I am an evil man so I respect misery, thanks for making sure there’s always enough to go around.
Jets win three games out of 5, unheard of. Dabole and Pederson win 2 games. Winners righting the ship. You're not a jets fan. You may have watched them as your local team with no other choice other then the Giants for a lot of years, but you are not a fan. Somehow, through the Internet, your celebration post feels forced. But the 20 of you hating on the team during the game, or giving kiddos to other teams that accomplished less, felt real.
2 out of 3 ain't bad and no one is firing a GM after a draft like Douglas has in 2022. Sad news for you.
The last time the Jets did a complete tear down full rebuild was in 1977 led by the historic 1977draft. The greatest draft in team history. The first big win for that team was on opening day of 1978 against the Dolphins at Shea. The jets destroyed the Dolphins that day. It led top almost 10 years of good football. Hopefully today's win against the Phins will have the same effect.
Watching the panthers play thinking, thanks God Matt Rhule isn't our HC. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
Anyone there that thinks we had a bad game plan and that the CS was horrible IMO has no idea how talented and dangerous a team we faced today, QB or not. They have a terrific RB, top OL an a killer WR and TE group arguably, the best skilled and fastest group in the NFL. The plan was to corral Hill and Waddle from breaking free and sacrifice the run and did just that. This group makes any QB look good. Their D is no slouch either, not by a long stretch. So fuck the noise, awesome win, great job by the coaching stuff on both sides of the ball. A few mistakes in the first half could have cost us the lead under different circumstances, but Miami had to fight for every point, thanks to the resilience and believe of this young team. And that is also good coaching. Fact is, we are actually over achieving with the rookie class, the OL is barely beginning to jell, our D is getting better game after game against great offenses, and our special teams are fantastic. This team for the first time in many years in giving us hope and is fun to watch. Are we there yet? hell no, but any team that takes us lightly will be unpleasantly surprised. Next Sunday is another major test, playing against a wounded tiger like we did against Cincinnati. Hope is another tough fought game, and if we win that one, I will be in tears, eagerly waiting to read some more BS criticism as to why we were lucky once again. I guess the wisdom of Adam Schein forecast for the Jets 0-6 start, almost guaranteed, is looking pretty damned stupid right about know, and I couldn’t be happier. Keep getting better, that’s all I want. Enough with the change of management crap after every game.
I thought of that game when the Jets made the score 33-17 today. Same type beautiful day and an unexpected ass kicking….
