The Jets put up 40 points?! I feel like I'm hallucinating. Awesome game. Zach played mistake free which is all we need with all the weapons we have on offense. The defense had some weak moments but played well overall, the turnovers were huge. This last draft class was an absolute haul, and AVT's versatility and skill at multiple spots is insanely impressive.
Not really sure How to feel about this win. I don’t think the score indicates how close it actually was. We went up against their 3rd string QB and it was a game until the start of the 4th. Idk. Don’t think this win tells us much.
Sorry but you are way off. This is a pile of rumbling nonsense. The game was geared to slow down Hill and Co. and they did just that. awesome game.
3-2 Kudos to CS, players and JD. Its been a long, long time to experience back to back wins, Well done. As another poster stated, lets get the D to play like they did in the 4th Q for 4 quarters... if that happens we could be playing meaningful games in december....
Forgot, welcome back Mr. Brown well played and they made a lot of yards running left. AVT had some great blocks as well... gelling
It wasn't as good as the final score indicates but this is the type of game we'd lose or barely win 10/10 times in previous years.
i feel this way more for the Pats … just like I will ALWAYS HATE the Cowboys, I will also ALWAYS HATE the Patriots if we beat them 40-0 ten times in a row I would not feel bad one bit
What happens if we beat Green Bay and Buffalo?? (The NYG did it to one of them today) It's Super Bowl Time Guys!!! Yaaaay Plus I can't wait to see Belicheks expression when we put a pasting on the patsies ahaha I am really starting to believe here ...I hardly understand how messy it gets but then we Win?? Unheard of
Got the W no matter what. That's all that really matters. However, by the end of the third, I wasn't that happy as we had some big plays but couldn't sustain much on O. Our D let a third string rookie resemble a competent game manager. At this point, I thought we were winning because of our talent and not because of the coaching staff. Then, 4th quarter came and everyone clicked and balled out. One thing is for sure, there's talent on this team now. No doubt about some of these young players. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
Yeah we have a really nice young core of players, especially offensive skill guys…we are young and good at WR, RB, TE is ok too. AVT has been ALL that and more. If Zach can develop we should have a good offense. Today was good not great but no turnovers, 66% completion…all really good. He still likes to rifle in those short dump offs and GW saved him on that 3rd down catch that was not well placed, but all in all this was a good game for him. good to see our DL start to impact the play more…corners are very much improved… JD has put together a good young squad…if we can improve OL next offseason and build at S and LB we will be a tough team
It was a great win true, but there are things to complain about. 1. Miami came into the game banged up, with the 30th ranked D in the league, lost their 2nd string QB on the first play of the game and their starting OT early in the game. Miami did just about everything they could to give away this game, yet the Jets allowed them to stay close for 3 Qs with poor offensive play (except for the Wilson-Hall near TD.) 2. Despite having a 3rd stringer at QB, Miami was able to rip off large rushing gains. The D should have reset themselves to stop the run and force Thompson to throw. Instead the D played as though Tua was still playing QB. It wasn't until the Jets went up by 26-17 that Miami was forced to throw and the D was able to tee off on the rookie QB. (A good lesson why you need a strong passing attack to win in the NFL. Miami ran the ball well all game, but when they fell behind by 2 scores in the 4Q, they could no longer rely on it to come from behind.) 3. Z. Wilson played okay but not as great as last Sunday's 4Q. 0 interceptions and a great run on 3rd down for the 2nd TD. On some of his throws he was bailed out by the receivers. G. Wilson and B. Hall both caught crucial out passes in the 4Q that were thrown to the wrong shoulder. Maybe a lot of fans don't want to hear the negatives, but until those are cleared up, the Jets will never get to where they need to be.
