I'm just a lurker here but I cannot believe how many of you (with 1000's and 1000's of posts) don't even watch the games live (or at all)?? Seems crazy to me, but what do I know?
What do you think was worse? That play or when Gregg Williams called an all out blitz against the Raiders?
To be fair, my situation wasn't by choice. Well kinda. After last week I was definitely fine with missing this week's game. That's what I get I guess.
A lot of people thought this game was over when we went down by 13 points. But if you are a journalist, your job is to wait to see what happens and then comment on it, not be in such a rush to be the first to get your jabs in that you end up looking like a complete dick. What a hack.
I only asked because Williams was axed because of that play call. You could make a case for the Browns' DC receiving the same fate.
In defense of the Browns DC, I think this case was more of an issue of a bonehead defender, and not bad coaching. Williams ORDERED the all out blitz.
I was watching an interview with Mangini a few years ago and he said more games are lost in this league than won. As Jets fans we as well as anyone have seen it time and time again. It's nice to be on the other side of it for once.
looked more like a miscommunication between their DBs then a bad play call. they were in prevent zone, that should have never happened. it's the kind of fuckup that we normally do not that gets done against us
There's one guy here that will fervently defend Cimini and his style of journalism. Care to guess who that might be?
Well he also doesn't take into account not everyone lives where they can get the game on TV. Also doesn't take into account that some have been watching the Jets for 50 years and have learned that sometimes a Sunday is better spent doing things with family like maybe visiting with the grandkids. Lots of reasons why some may not watch every Sunday
Amari Cooper shied away from the football when he saw contact was imminent reminded me of Cam in the SB... he was like... nah
Not even close to old yet. Different vantage points here. Great call from Bob Wischusen. Was phenomenal listening live
This game is staying on my TiVo through the season. I might need it to cheer me up every once in a while...
