Big blow being without Q. Wonder if we'll see JFM inside more. Joyner out too but honestly kind of interested to see how Davis or Adams play at FS.
I'm pretty pumped up for the game. Got a feeling Detroit is going to implode in the elements. Go Jets.
I'm guessing It's because of the weather, on the road?? I don't gamble on football so I'm out of the loop on what they base the odds on.
No work this morning so I'm at full charge for this game. Let's go Zach... prove the naysayers wrong.
Game Thread is now open. https://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/2022-nfl-season-week-15-jets-vs-lions.98386/
You can’t blame the D We have up a total of 20 points to one of the higher scoring offenses. 7 on a punt return. 3 on a FG where they got the ball in FG range, They had 1 play breakdown that was awful. But they did their job today.
Lions defense was giving up an average of 30 points per game coming into today. Jets scored 17... AT HOME. 'Nuff said.
The Jet DEF is not really the problem; I'll give you three guesses as to who is the problem, but you'll only need one.
Because the QB can’t run an offense. He made some big boy throws, but unless he is thrown in as a specialist for broken plays, he can’t run an nfl offense yet.
This bad loss is on everyone. - Zach had moments of brilliance, but outweighed by moments of ineptitude. - Defense was solid for 3.5 quarters, but breaks at the worst possible time. - Special teams, lol - Poor clock management on final drive.
Same old Jets - the fact that we could have had Trevor Lawrence who looks like developing into a quality starter but no - had to go and win a totally pointless game and so cost us the #1 pick and leave with with the scraps (and then they had to double down and take the QB that hads never faced decent opposition) was just so Jetsy that it was pretty much guaranteed to happen - god this franchise just never changes - I swear it's cursed
