that’s a good observation for sure but we have to hope the refs call this game tight. Spencer Brown is a holding machine. If they let him get away with it then it negates the mismatch
I've become increasingly confident in Saleh and what's being built here as a whole. I truly think this is a very different Jets team than I've seen in a long time, possibly ever. I think they'll have a chance in any game, even down 3 scores. This is a good football team, top to bottom (not sure about ownership*) That said, I think Buffalo will win this week. It would be wild for the Jets to sweep Buffalo. Even splitting with them is pretty damn good. I think Poyer playing hurts though Milano's status makes a difference too. At the very least, I hope MW shows growth and plays a solid game in a very tough spot. If they can find a way to win though, that ups the narrative of this team from playoff spot contender to legitimate AFC contender
The Raiders losing this week gives us more wriggle room. I think we can lose this game and still get in at 10-6. If we want to win this one we have to establish the run. Go Jets.
This division as a whole is pretty strong. NE is in last place and yet they don't have a losing record. The Jets are definitely trending up. I also think they lose this week but will end the playoff drought and clinch a WC.

I'm not sure who to root for in the Fish/Bolts game. A loss for the San Diego probably finishes them off. But if we are able to somehow win and the Dolphins lose, we would technically be ahead of them in the standings. Obviously if the Dolphins win and we lose, we would be two games behind them.
They play Sunday night. Root for whatever helps the Jets since their game will be over by the time this one starts.
As yucky as it feels, I'm probably rooting for the Phins. We still kinda control our destiny when it comes to them as we already have the tiebreaker and have another game against them in Week 18. I'd much rather the Chargers lose as it would increase our chances of making the playoffs. I'm basically hoping the Chargers, Pats, Raiders (already got that one this week), Browns, and Steelers all lose this week. Would move Pats/Chargers down to 6-7 and Browns/Steelers/Raiders all down to 5-8 effectively eliminating them from the playoffs.
Well said. I am also rooting for Dolphins in that game regardless of if Jets win our lose Sunday. Let's be honest. Bills will win the division regardless and Pats have a tough schedule ahead. Better put a distance between us and Chargers for wild card race.
i am no longer able to do the rooting for this or that team cos it increases our odds to make playoffs... cant torture myself that way
How wonderful it is to be contemplating the ridiculous calculus required for the Jets to make the playoffs! If you stand on one leg and squint, wave bones and feathers over your head in a graveyard... This feels good.
Most beat writers ..NYPost , USA today don't give the Jets much of a chance Sunday So just contemplate this .. Who's the much better team ? Minnesota or the Bills? Imo the Vikings The Bills have a cloudy day at home as their biggest advantage..we have a top 10 defense that will give Buffalo fits I say We have a 50-50 chance The outcome will be close!
I was wondering about the winner here too But it's really a waste of time You can only just focus on upsetting the Bills and get as many wins down the stretch as possible tbh
40 degrees rain and snow in Buffalo on Sunday. Living room tailgate food…Short Ribs of Beef or Brisket? Goblets of Guinness! Definitely mashed potatoes. Panatone slathered with Marscapone cheese. Perhaps a wee dram of Bunnahabhain… GO JETS!!!
