Nobody expects their team will go 17-0. Everybody expects losses, but we always say we hope those losses are tolerable or aren't bad ones. As bummed as I am they weren't able to win because it was there for them, I don't consider this a bad or worrisome loss. The defense didn't hold up it's end in the 1st half though also wasn't getting gashed either. The offense, while bad in the red zone, moved the ball and the QB and offense on the whole played well. They went on the road against one of the best teams in the NFL and were right there with it until the end. Yeah, it's not a moral victory, but I don't feel this is a bad loss. I'm not coming away from this game deeply concerned about any one thing or discouraged. I really feel this team will have a great chance to win any game the rest of the way.

I hate blaming the refs but the Jets receivers were getting mugged all day

The Patriots game 3 weeks ago, the one that got Zach benched. That was the game I wanted more than any other

He should file a grievance through the Union. Whitehead led with his shoulder.
That crew blew a lot of calls in that game.

Mims was blatantly interfered with on that 3rd and long in the 1st half. Defender didn't even turn his head and was there early...no flag. Same with the INT on the first drive.

certain teams end up with a weird non specific bias.. a culture of losing biases refes w/o them knowing they are biased they simply call the game as if the loser team DESERVES to lose, that the penalties agaqinst are not, ande that soft ones for the "winner" are legit also...

my Arsenal suffer from the same...perceived as soft, skill oriented on offense they let opposition bully us and we dont get penalts shots we deserve, , and considred sloppy in D we get alotta pen calls againts us...

Agreed but still both Mims and Davis should have caught these balls. When Mims jumped and extended his arms - the guy has incredible wingspan and huge mitts, just grab that ball, don't catch with your chest. Davis should have had one too, the ball actually hit him in the chest. Yeah, not in the center of it, but still, PI or not, that's gotta be a catch.
