Now it seems like it’s wether the lions want him or not. I think he’s better than Thibedoux

Really? I don't know much about him, but found his scouting report on PFN interesting.

It will be interesting to see what happens. If you have the first overall pick do you take Myles Garrett or Nick Bosa? It’s a comparable debate don’t you think?

Does not have elite speed and reminds me of the round 2 guys from Mims class. Van Jefferson, Michael Pittman type player. Good? Sure. Really don’t think he’s a big threat though. Plays on a far superior team as well

Perfect time to teach Max Jr. how to scout edge rushers. Kidding man - enjoy it!

Williams worries me because he’s in the same slender mold of a lot of the past Alabama receivers (Ridley, Jeudy, Ruggs, etc.) that have yielded mixed results. He’s fast as fuck and quick in open space. The Alabama dominance in all aspects of the game factor is in effect when I watch him though. He’s so damn open at all times - is that because he’s so good and fluid or because of the team around him?

It is. I watched Thibs more last year than this year and I loved what I saw, but I honestly don’t have an updated scouting report on him like I do having watched most of Michigan’s game this year.

Dude better play well in the civil war and not opt of the bowl game or he may not be number 1

Pittman's having a good year for Indy. Jefferson hasn't done much either year in LA. The talent Williams has around him is a legitimate concern, but is he playing with round 1 prospects? Metchie is supposed to be a day 2 guy.

Williams is fine. I’m just trying to say I feel like he needs to be on a better team instead of will make a team better. Nice player. Sure we get him in round 2 but don’t think he’s a number 1 at all on an nfl team.

I imagine he’ll opt out. Who would want to piss $30 million away for a torn ACL in a meaningless game?

Weird criticism here of Hutchinson that I’m sure gets corrected in the NFL - he lines up too far off the line. He needs to hug the LOS a bit more and his first step gets that much more deadly.

Maybe there will be a QB who absolutely crushes the combine and teams fall in love with. It’s always funny how the storyline changes around certain players between now and the draft. One of these guys need to be a Jet.

He also stands up a lot and loses leverage. Either way Thibs and Hutchinson would be gamer changers. Hope we are able to get one of them.

At this point, it's basically a given that we'll be in a position to take Thibodeaux, Hutchinson, or Karlaftis. The question is which one(s) will be available at our pick.

Karalftis is nowhere near the other 2

Despite being a good prospect, it would disappointing to have Karlaftis the only one available. We shall see…

I don’t know what the draft guys say but #23 Roger McCreary on Auburn has absolutely dominated the two NFL Alabama receivers so far today. He’s been running stride for stride with them with ease all game long in the Iron Bowl today.

As of now, I don't disagree. I like his upside though.

Been watching a lot of film and games. Pick one should probably be one of the following

    -Thibedeaux, Hutchinson or Stingley.

a lot depends on the Seattle pick. My hunch tells me thre is enough good OL and esp interior OL is the middle rounds to draft there. Or, we trade back deep into round 1 for a OT. It’s Evan Neal and everyone else but the above 3 are too good to psss on.

for the Seattle pick, Andrew Booth on Clemson or Garrett Wilson would be my targets.

Another below average game from Brandon Smith (Penn St.) yesterday along with yet another monster game from Damone Clark (LSU).
Might be Clark's last game as LSU may be shut out of the bowls. Presently - am not sure Clark will be available w/our first pick in the 2nd round.
