The prime time matchups this year are freakin brutal. Even moving forward. Cant wait for the Steelers/colts matchup

Steelers Bengals is SNF on November 20th. They should flex Jets v Pats into that slot.

Theres a specific week where they start the flex option. Nov 20 may be too early?

This is interesting--I wonder to what extent agreement is needed from the network who has the game scheduled originally. Why should they give up a good game to NBC?

I think each network (Fox/CBS) picks one game that they (NBC) cannot touch and it is protected from being moved. Outside of those two games, NBC can take anything in the 1:00 slate.

So if that’s the case I don’t see the Jets-Pats being flexed. CBS only has three early games scheduled - the Jets-Pats would be the one they protect. CLE/BUF and PHI/IND are the other two…..

Yeah, prob right then. I don't remember if NFL had the final say in who gets moved or flexed, but I'm pretty sure the networks get to each protect a game from being moved and if that is the case, it'll stay at 1:00 b/c nothing else is appealing.

Also Pitt gets a big drawing no matter what and Bengals with Burrow are a good watch.

Yeah I was thinking that also. The Bengals are still the AFC champs and the Steelers are always a draw. I think that game probably doesn’t get flexed out - there aren’t many other good matchups that weekend anyway.

I guess they are allowed to flex the 4:00 slate?

I guess they can flex whatever game they want but surprised they put Bengals at 4:00. Why not do a three way switch and put Bengals at 1 and Jets at 4?

How in the world did 49ers rank #6 with 4- 4 record and the Vikings ranked #7 with 7 - 1 record?
