Good news for the Jets, when it looked bad for a while. It's all moot if the Jets don't win tomorrow.
That was a weird game. Buffalo scored as time expired in both halves. Plays like that can often easily go the other way and it’s a 10 point loss
yeah it’s potentially good for our Jets provided they can take advantage of it. I’m happy, just saying it was a weird way to win.
Miami way back in track despite the loss. Putting up points against an excellent defense in bad conditions.
So... Buffalo fans can NOW talk about "making a run in the playoffs " and even mention the SB. THATS how it works. Not Jet fans at 7-3 talking about "admit it we have a championship D" and SB runs and playoffs after 10 games FFS
The two big games today are late games - Jets fans have to root hard for Oakland (yuck) over New England and Tennessee over the Chargers. If the Jets win in the early game, those games could put them back in playoff position. If the Jets lose, those games going the wrong way would come close to ending their hopes. Tennessee still has plenty to play for, and hopefully Josh McDaniels wants to impress his daddy so he'll get rehired once again after he gets fired from Las Vegas.
Even if the Jets lose, as long as the chargers lose, the jets are in a better place than they would have been before the week started bc we would control our own destiny.
I hope Dallas doesn't blow Jaguars today. They are up 21-7 against Jaguars. Don't want to deal with a pissed of Jaguars come Thursday,
Mind boggling that heading into 4th quarter, very realistic possibility that today’s loss has no bearing on the Jets standing. Titans in scoring range and Vegas still up on Pats.
Saleh spent a lot of the season "developing" ZW. If we miss the playoffs that is likely to be the #1 reason why. One of the problems with spending a lot of time and effort developing a marginal QB talent is that you don't really gain much out of all of that investment in the end. The fans are not going to like the guy who spent several years turning into an OK QB because he's not going to win a SB for them and they're all scarred by the endless screwups that preceded the year or two of competent play. There were very few Jets fans in the late 70's and early 80's that actually liked Richard Todd. We were all ready to move on from him by '83 and many were hoping the Jets would start O'Brien as a rookie - which they did not. The Jets organization, scarred by the Todd development process, wasn't going to put O'Brien out on the field until they were pretty sure he was ready to go.
In the space of a few seconds, both game suddenly turn for the Jets and Titans and Raiders tie the games.
