Totally agree. Add the one yesterday against the 49ers where the ejected a player for a clean hit on the Chargers QB while he was running and leading with his helmet was disgraceful.
The "catch" that hit the ground not being reviewed was pretty bad, but this mistake when the game was at a point of sudden death was just egregious. Can you imagine if the Vikings didn't pull it out on the heels of something this blatantly momentum-turning?
Utter garbage refereeing and no one talks about it. Not the announcers, not the ref expert, not the league. What is the New York crew freaking doing.....ever? Massive waste of time
Fetterman needs to come into the Eagles locker room and tell them that the Eagles are better than....the Eagles!
Unbelievably bad call for the refs once again - Washington gets a turnover on a play where the runner was blatantly grabbed on the facemask. One angle showed a referee looking directly at it, yet somehow he totally missed it.
Well, the BS pas interference on the offense was equally pathetic. That ref on the sideline must be blind
And now the Eagles lose on an absurdly bogus roughing the passer call. How can the NFL let this crap keep happening game after game?
I agree that it was a bad call and they should’ve given Brandon Graham the benefit of the doubt since he realistically could’ve smoked him and he pulled up considerably. He still did hit a player late technically though so the NFL is probably covered on that one.
Oh, I understand completely that the call followed the letter of the law, but that's the point - in these kinds of situations, there needs to be the abillity for the referees to get together and assess that a penalty needn't be called. When there is absolutely no effect on play, absolutely no bad intent, and absolutely no damage done, a 15-yard personal foul with automatic first down just isn't sensible in my opinion. Personal foul calls are all subjective anyway, and this one was ridiculous.
