Game one has us throwing 59 times, game two has us throwing 40% of our pass attempts to the same WR. Our offense needs to be planned better.
Browns are winning this game because they are committed to the run and passing off of that commitment. Jets are running the ball but they are still committed to the pass first.
That's a coaching issue. This ownership has a thing for hiring unproven first-timers. That means - as you said - a lack of fundamentals and accountability for errors like formation penalties, too many men on the field penalties, blown coverages, drops, etc., and some of the dumbest things I have ever seen on a football field.
I remember Steve Grogan for the Patriots just torching them every time he played when Eason was hurt.
Forcing only 2 punts, giving up almost 85% 3rd down conversions, no sacks, no forced turnovers, and the offense has given them plenty of rest with 4 long drives. They are just atrocious
That’s going to do it. Flacco did what he could but he can’t make the plays needed when things break down.
Browns TE dropped a key back too and they managed. Our D is getting destroyed right now, that's the biggest problem
