Buffalo, man...the league gave them everything -The season started with the NFL changing the playoff rules because Buffalo lost last year. -They moved a regular season game for Buffalo. A snowy game against the NFL's best running game mind you -The league gifted them the no.2 seed and a home game against the Bengals. (Cincy woulda won that Hamlin game and should've been hosting Buffalo as the 2 seed) -They gave them a neutral site if they had made it to the AFFCG All those advantages and they go and lay an egg at home in their weather
looked like gallup was at fault dfor the 1st int..started to come back to the bakll then once thrown he stopped... DB continued downhill and made the pick Pollard broken leg
Zak is like Penny. Good. Not a SB winning guy. Unless the team is STACKED a la 90's CBoys Zeke<<Emmitt CD and co<<Harper and Irvin current OL <<90's OL
Hard to believe it is the 5th year in a row the Chiefs will HOST the AFC Championship I am so jealous
The old man goes, "Joe Burrow, he would have gone from Joe Cool to Joe Bum here, and if it was Mahomes the guy would never have worn a uniform again. Face it'." The New York Jets, where all quarterbacks go to die. Or be killed. On a serious note, I'm losing ways to laugh about it.
They'll get more windows after this one. The way it works when you have a elite QB (but aren't the Tom Brady Patriots) is you have a couple years where you can win the Super Bowl followed by a couple years where you fight for the division and then you go back to Super Bowl contention etc.
This was posted to the official Cowboys Twitter feed after the game: Don't usually see an organization throw their starting QB under the bus like that. Jerruh really hates himself for caving in to Dak's contract demands.
Yup, the NFL simply has too many viable avenues a team can retool through that smart GM’s can navigate.
yeah maybe but I do think Allen is unique in that he wins with his physicality. Winning that way limits your window, kinda like Cam Newton, washed out by early 30s
Anyone else think about the improbability of a 49ers-Bengals Super Bowl? It would be the first time a rookie QB lead his team to the Super Bowl, and only the 4th time potentially a team that has lost a Super Bowl, comes back to win it (Bengals). What the Bengals are doing is so impressive, only one team in the last 50 years has lost a Super Bowl and come back; Patriots 2018.
