If looking forward means wanting to barf onto my dinner plate, then sure! :(

I'm very nervous about this series/

I get it. I am nervous about the Isles series. I think both Devils and Rangers fans will be nervous throughout. I expect this will be a great series with some OT games as well. Definitely feels like a 7-game series. IMHO.

All the pressure is on the Rangers. ECF last year, came into the season as a Cup favorite, made two big name trades… Rangers have to win the series.

I agree 100%. Having a lot of experience on the team helps with the pressure.

Game 2 tonight. Get the lead. Usually, I don't put much importance on getting a 1-0 lead but tonight I do. The Canes give you no time or space out there. For an offensively challenged team like the Islanders it makes it that much harder to come back. They can't fall behind again and expect to come back to UBS 1-1.

If you can’t beat them, beat them up I suppose.

And now a pathetic fluke goal and they're down 2-0. This game is already almost over.

Isles screwed on the missed penalty to Mayfield, but Sorokin was not good in this game.

Garbage officiating on the tying and winning goals.

I am still pissed. I get the Canes are better than the Isles and Sorokin can't let that one goal from that angle go in. Despite 6 PP's to 0. Despite the blatant high stick call that wasn't called the Isles could have and probably should have won this game. One game at a time. If they have any hope of winning this series, then game 3 is a must obviously. It won't be easy as the Isles are 2-13-2 in their last 17 games against the Canes. That is almost as bad as the Bills record vs Tom Brady. At the very least I don't want a sweep. In the first ever playoff series at UBS give the fans and new arena a good moment. If the funeral takes place in game 5 then so be it. Anyway LGI.

What's happening to the Islanders is a disgrace to professional sports. The incompetence of these officials are destroying the integrity of the game.

It's disgraceful that the will receive absolutely no repercussions whatsoever.

WWE "officials" have more credibility than the clowns that called last night's game. I can take losing but call it for both teams or don't call it at all. The non call in OT was the worst. I expect a strong game from the Isles on Friday. They are right there with them as the scores (2-1, 4-3 OT) indicate. I think we go into Sunday 2-1. From there who knows.

Mark my words: The officials will face ZERO reprecussions.
