If the Titans are without Brown and Jones, you stack the box, and force Tannehill to beat you in the air. Maybe he can do it, but it is better to do that than let Henry run all over you. As for the offense, they need to try to establish the run, but also give Zach some short and intermediate passes. Crowder should be able to help with that. Maybe more dump offs to Michael Carter too. I really believe this will be a close game, and one the Jets can potentially win. The crowd needs to be loud and supportive too.
Denzel Mims should be brought in for questioning. Tannehill hasn't looked great this year so far, at least not like he's looked the past couple years. I wonder if part of that is the diva receiver syndrome and trying to keep Julio + AJ Brown both involved (which he's failed at). I'm not sure how much box stacking is going to make a difference. We have some smaaaallll calf's off the ball.
Why is there even a poll for this. It's not a question of who will win the game. It's just a question of how much the Titans win by, and whether or not the NFL feels it necessary to create a mercy rule based on how ugly this one will get.
Don't worry fellas... I laid down some coin on the Titans to stomp us... first time I've bet against the Jets this season. We should win outright...
I'm hoping we'll be able to compare this Jets team to the 2019 Dolphins. They were absolutely shellacked in their 1st 4 games and then became competitive and won 5 games that year. 2019 Miami Dolphins season - Wikipedia
I predict the tailgate will be stellar! BBQ ribs on a charcoal grill…unless we bag a fat Bluefin Tuna tomorrow!
The good news is this is the worst defense we’ve faced so far this year. The bad news is I don’t see any way we can even slow down Henry & the offense. I’m afraid this one will be a blowout but could see us scoring like two TDs, which would be nice.
Crowder and Ashtyn Davis are back this week. Also looks like Mims will be active. Sucks to see Elijah out but hopefully getting Crowder back will negate that some. Also nice to see that Maye might only miss 2 weeks but I guess we shall see.
Adam Schefter tweeted "Titans ruled out WRs Julio Jones and A.J. Brown for Sunday's game vs NY Jets." So, I guess we have a chance to win now?
Remember last year in week 2 when we played the 49ers and half their team was injured and the other half got injured in the first quarter? And they were still beating us so badly at halftime that they just pulled Jimmy G? This team is playing worse.
