There was actually a lot of good that came out of that game. Offensive line looked much better and gave Zach good protection. Offensive line opened holes for the running game which eclipsed 100 yards on the day. Michael Carter looked awesome and so good that Saleh said he had to keep giving him the ball. Defense is looking better and better. Secondary looks awesome through the first 2 weeks. Pass rush looks very good. Could be improved but they are definitely getting to the QB. Mosely is a beast and in pro bowl form right now. We win that game on Sunday if Zach doesn't turn the ball over 4 times. We had more yardage in the air, on the ground, and we controlled the clock. Turnovers absolutely destroyed us.
Agreed... but I'll reserve judgement on the OL. Moseley looks like he's on a mission. Even Quincy Williams flashed.
Agree about the OL, including the secondary for that matter. It is still early and I want to see consistency moving forward. If there is one thing JD has done incredibly well, it is his ability to sign productive free agents. Quincy Williams, Shaq Lawson, Sheldon Rankins, etc. All producing at a high level for us. There truly is a lot to be excited about with this young squad.
It's hard to agree that Van Roten cost Wilson anything when the first contact with Wilson came 3.8 seconds into the play. At that time Berrios was well covered. This article from last year states that median time to throw is a second less with the longest time 0.6 less: Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger in a snap to make throws | TribLIVE.com
I have to ask. Would the best Jets analyst in the world really have like 5 ambush ads on the main page of his site? I feel like I'm reading the Post.
