It's gonna be interesting to see how LaFloor calls the game for Zach. Does he keep him on a short controlled leash or does he playcall to his perceived strengths and let Zach toss the ball around. With Corey Davis doubtful & Michael Carter out... gulp...
Call me crazy or call me a masochist, but there is not another team on this planet that I would rather be rooting for. Through all the pain and all the horrible moments, I love this team and that will NEVER change. I truly hope we turn this ship around soon and I get to witness amazing football for years and years to come. I have a lot of hope for the way things are going and I have a lot of hope in Zach Wilson and this young squad. I trust JD and I trust Saleh. Sunday can't come soon enough
Well, we can't lose today. Jets win - Good for development of young guys on the team. Gaining a winning habit is more important this year than draft order. Jets lose - Better draft position in 2022. I am relaxed. Rooting for a win. Come on Jets.
Perine a healthy scratch today too. Not sure what's going on here but the Saleh doghouse seems to be overpopulated with JD's 2020 picks.
They activated Austin Walter from the PS. He is a similar player to Carter (obv not as good) and can also play slot receiver and return kicks.
It will be oh so sweeter when we actually do well. But it's painful. I still watch every game. But it's hard some weeks. And these past seasons remind me too much of the late 80's and early 90's.
Saleh and JD should just sit down and decide what to do going forward. Zach learned NOTHING last month by not playing matching what he learned WHILE playing. Sitting didn't hurt Aaron Rodgers. It wouldn't hurt Zach to sit until 2023 either. In the meantime, Zach might want to spend his spare time working on his throwing, timing and touch. Especially during the offseason. Right now, He's hurting the Jets. Not helping them..
