my friends who are cowboys fans all kept telling me they wanted McCarthy fired. Now I can see why. Undisciplined football team & terrible clock management
While seeing Jimmy G beat TB12 would be sweet, I just can't see it happening - Garoppolo just isn't that good.
Its not like Jerry Jones is shy about firing coaches.. Not a good game for the boyz today even though they did make it close.
What? Jerry put his hands in his pockets for 3+ seasons about firing Garrett. Maybe he grows a nutsack and fires McCarthy on the plane ride home as he should, but based on Jason Garrett he’s very shy about firing coaches.
The Cowboys beat one playoff team this year to get in and they needed overtime in New England to do it. I’m excluding the romping against the Eagles backups in week 18 (another team who didn’t beat a playoff team in the regular season). McCarthy is a dreadful head coach. His roster is loaded as is his coaching staff.
Kellen Moore was retained from the previous regime. He changed defensive coordinators to add Dan Quinn this year after personally hiring Mike Nolan to oversee that terrible defense last year.
Here's a lil bit of news... https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...f-team-fails-to-meet-postseason-expectations/ McCarthy is 131-87-2 lifetime?
You or I could’ve been 40 games over .500 as the head coach to Aaron Rodgers, Cman. Mike McCarthy is a loser of a head coach. Saleh doesn’t look like a huge winner himself but I wouldn’t shed a tear that we didn’t get McCarthy. I’ve never seen a worse coached football game than the one I just saw by the Cowboys. And I’ve been competently watching the Jets for 20 years.
He had three shots to effectively ice the game and blew them. Terrible drive killer throw to a wide open Ayiew missed, terrible interception, and then on 4th and an inch not checking his guys were set. You just can't trust him in the key moments.
