True. And that's been the constant theme with EVERY defensive coordinator with the exception of Rex. They hire top DCs who, upon becoming a head coach, go from aggressive on defense to timid. Mangini and Bowles both ran excellent defenses as defensive coordinators, and Bowles right now is one of the best DCs in the league. But he ran a pussy defense with us. Now, Saleh is doing the same thing.
If I were coaching against the Jets, I'd never punt the ball. Fourth and twenty, might as well go for it. Either you get the first or you know they won't score on the back end.
Totally disagree. They’ve done everything they wanted to do all game. Why would they think we could stop them? Conversely, worst case for them is we have our 3rd string QB on the one one yard line down by 18. Of course you go for that. It’s a no brainer

Yeah I get it, but it just seems like the three TD lead is safe if you kick the field goal. Not like we're going to move the ball anyways so you're probably right.
